Jessica Simpson is back – and ready to expand her brand.
After taking back full ownership of her eponymous fashion line in October 2021 for the first time since 2015, the “With You” singer announced that she plans to expand her Jessica Simpson collection in a major way.
The first up? Men’s clothes.
“We’re going into boys and menswear, which I’ve always wanted to do, because I know what a guy’s butt should look like in their jeans,” Simpson told People.
“My husband is a good role model for that, but he would never do that,” she added. “Maybe I could convince him.”
With daughters Birdie and Maxwell appearing in their mother’s 2020 ad campaign, it may be easy to persuade husband Eric Johnson.
Menswear is just the beginning for Simpson, now that she’s 100% in control of her brand.
“We only understand it now, because all these doors are opening and we see how much we have been held back. We’re going to have so much more to come and so many different product categories,” she said.
“[I] I want to get into interior design, I want to get into health and wellness, because there are certain things with women, like hormones and vitamins, [that I want to tackle]. I didn’t even do anything pretty. I don’t have the beauty element and I love skincare.
