Anonymous, 13 hours agoWhy 4nm mode, why not 3nm? 3 nm is not yet released.
Anonymous, 13 hours agoAh, so it’s the same! Thank you for clarifying my mate, well doneðð» I asked myself the question bcoz … moreSome processors always display the same names. So I still think they are different like C = compact cores and P = performance core
Pravesh Shukla, 5 hours agoLooks like Mediatek will do the same to Qualcomm as AMD did to Intel.I was hoping for the same and have mentioned the exact same thing in many previous articles!

Anonymous, 16 hours agoEven Apple should be using Snapdragon. Considering how much easier it is for the hardware to run iOS, ev … moreWhy would they give up one of their selling points for a less successful snapdragon. It’s not like they’re going to lower the price or anything. Also, they don’t want hardware that would allow people to charge Android or whatever, they are using a different architecture (based on the arm) to keep the store closed to strangers.
It’s funny for the last decade, I mean in the last 10 years every flagship processor and GPU is 20-30% faster and more reliable than previous flagship GPUs and processors.
So along 100 hours of endurance and no more than 6-8 on a heavy game (I mean when you run a certain game which is hard on the RAM and GPU like I play Clash of Lords 2)
Any phone average 6-8 hours from 100% until the battery dies.

Good on MediaTek! They are the first on TSMC’s 4nm process. Even the A15 is still 5nm. Hopefully they will become the market leader this year in flagship processors (they are already the leader in everything else).
ae86, 10 hours agoI hope TSMC will develop further in the coming decades. Winning TSMC is good for TaiwanI’ve read that TSMC and Samsung are already reaching the limit when it comes to water supply. To go even smaller process, they need more clean water. Maybe they need a new site with plenty of clean water.
SMIRNAS, 10 hours agoremember, if you want to buy a new phone, buy it in Q4 2022
Q4 2022 is 1 year more !!
I can’t wait that long !!
[deleted post]Taiwan is a separate country lol which is not part of China .. ð
Kirin is the best chipset out there, hope sooner or later we will see the next generation of kirin chipset
Skil, 15 hours agoLol, Samsung has always been neck and neck and sometimes even better than TSMC, what do you want … morePhones equipped with a dimension chip have already reached 720k in Antutu. Qualcomm’s chips are improving at a much slower rate.
Here we are! Finally become interesting.

These speed boosts are largely irrelevant unless they can operate without thermal limitation – like all current SoCs.

Qualcom can’t even catch up with Apple M1 and its price is overpriced, including the M1 is easy to manufacture compared to the desktop chip.
and including other manufacturers who are catching up with QUALCOM, they have innovations to catch up, they are catching up. say to improve and make technology better
