Following the premiere of the latest Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer, fans are excited to hear what Professor X’s voice might be.
The latest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has fans expressing their excitement after the apparent tease of Patrick Stewart’s return as Professor Charles Xavier aka Professor X.
While the trailer includes a slew of new footage for audiences to peruse and analyze, one moment in particular has tongues wagging. After a minute and 19 seconds, just after Doctor Strange has entered what appears to be a council room, a faceless figure says, “We should tell him the truth.” With only their shoulder and the side of their head visible, fans were quick to connect the voice to Patrick Stewart’s portrayal of Professor X in Fox’s x-men movies. Many viewers have flocked to social media to express their excitement over the character’s potential return.
Me: Marvel’s monopolistic hold over modern cinema has resulted in the destruction of the entire mid-budget film industry.
Me too: PATRICK STEWART PROF. X IS IN THE NEW DOCTOR STRANGE!

While Marvel Studios has yet to confirm whether Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as the telepathic leader of the X-Men, many fans believe the Multiverse of Madness would be the perfect way to bring classic Fox films into the MCU. Since recent Marvel productions, such as Loki and Spider-Man: No Coming Home, have focused on opening up the multiverse, it could be that existing characters will be reintroduced in the second strange doctor movie.
Professor X’s involvement in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was rumored for a few months following the leak of what was thought to be concept art for the film. The image in question very closely depicts the scene shown in the trailer, including details such as the yellow light of the Ultron robots and the rectangular handcuffs worn by Doctor Strange himself.
Sir Patrick Stewart returning to play Professor X doesn’t ruin LOGAN at all. LOGAN will always be a great movie, it works on its own. Same thing if Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. Their MCU Interactions Could Happen Right After Days of Future Past pic.twitter.com/Ze4HOVi4Rz

last theory of the night…
Patrick Stewart is not Professor X of the #X Men movies…he’s Professor X from the anime series and he’s been doing that ever since he went diving.
X-Men ’97 = canon.

Alright alright, it appears to be Ultron drones leading Strange to the Illuminati, which is possibly made up of individuals from different universes and led by Patrick Stewart’s Professor X??
BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT I HEARD IT WAS PATRICK STEWART. ELSE WHY WOULD THEY HIDE IT? pic.twitter.com/CSYMMH5KQg

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness not only acts as a sequel to the Sorcerer Supreme’s 2017 live-action debut, but also Spider-Man: No Coming Home. After tearing the multiverse apart to help Peter Parker, Doctor Strange faces the consequences of his actions, as reality itself slowly begins to crumble. While Professor X could make a big comeback, the film will also see the debut of America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) and an obscure Marvel villain known as Gargantos.
Fans Eager To See Professor X’s Potential Return Can Catch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness when it hits theaters on May 6.
