SHANGHAI, April 29 (Reuters) – Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) is recalling 14,684 Model 3 cars imported and locally made in China due to software issues that could lead to collisions, the regulator said. country market. American automaker in April.

The regulator said earlier in April that the electric vehicle maker would recall 127,785 units of Model 3 cars over potential flaws in semiconductor components that could lead to crashes.

Tesla declined to comment on the regulator’s announcements.

Tesla has come under increased pressure in China from regulators and state media after a disgruntled customer’s protests at the Shanghai auto show went viral last year.
